Who We Are and What We Do

The motto of Middlesex Kiwanis, as part of Kiwanis International is “serving children of the world”. In Middlesex, we do this by performing service projects, providing scholarships, helping teachers and cooperating with other agencies who are helping children.

Our service projects are many, and include preparing weekend food for kids through Backpack Buddies, Christmas wrapping, cleaning trails at the Maritime Museum, providing food for the library carnival, cleaning the highways, helping maintain playgrounds and ball fields, and so much more.

How do we do it?

First and foremost, any successful club has a backbone of membership. We are about 60 members strong! We conduct two major fundraisers, which enable us to fund our goal of serving children.

Our membership includes people from all over our community. It includes young workers, school employees, retirees, bankers, and more. For FY 25-26, the slate of officers is as follows:

Middlesex Faculty Advisors (Service Leader Program SLP)

The faculty advisor for the Middlesex High School Key Club is Laura Johnson.  Elizabeth Saunders is our SLP Rep at the Middle School for Builder’s Club.  Bailey Hooper is the Faculty Advisor at the Middle School.
